I just found a used 03 FCT at a local dealer. I want to install it on my 95' ss and I am not sure if it will fit. I have contacted 2 of the regulars from this site who have converted SS to SAN and got conflicting answers. Does anyone out there know if it will fit on my 95'. The feet on the tower are round and the dealer brought up the point of the cup holders in the bow of my boat which the SANs do not have. It's a great deal so I would love to take advantage but unfortunately I cannot take my boat to where it is located(it has now been put away in storage and is over 2 hrs away) to see if it fits. Does anyone know if it will fit for sure? Thanks.

Just to maybe start conversation on this. . .I am the person that told sperbet that the tower wouldn't fit. I know for a FACT that the feet on the FCT towers made from '02 and after are different than the feet on the FCT towers that were made from '01 and before. The width on the gunnels on the boats made from '01 and before were wider than the gunnels on the newer boats. Because of this, the feet on the '01 and earlier towers were bigger than the newer towers.
I don't know for a fact this tower won't work on sperbet's boat, but I would definitely take some measurements because I know that the '01 and earlier towers did not come out of the same molds that the '02 and newer towers did.
Just my 2 cents.2008 Super Air Nautique 210TE

tower
Justin,
if you were to put an older fct pre 02 on a o2 and up boat, wouldnt fit, the traingle base would overlap the gunnel. Not the same for the narrow base 02 tower on up on the wider base gunnel boats, IE: 95-2001. Fits fine, in fact, someone on the board, put a 04 tower on there older supersport.
fyi
Mike
Scott,
buy the tower and get it on your boat!, or sell yours and buy mine.
