I have a trailer that hits/scrapes/drags on EVERYTHING! Can't do bigger tires than I've already got, wondering if I can put blocks in the leaf springs like a lift on a truck or there is another system. The other way I thought about doing it, was adding another layer of wood/carpet to lift the boat up, then cutting the prop protection plate and re-welding it an inch higher, way more work, and I'd have to drop the trailer way deeper to get the boat on but I am tired of driving around scraping on everything. Any ideas suggestions appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Without seeing your set up i'd bet your trailer is not level. Try a lower drop hitch and get the tounge down some. I'd suggest posting a picture of your rig so we could get a better picture of what's going on. You're gonna drag some but you shouldn't drag on "everything"

I had a two inch lift put on my old MC trailer. The guy who did it built custom RV trailers. From what I remember him telling me, we started with two inch tube steel blocks. Once those were in, he sent me to have the axle aligned. Afterward, he welded the pins in place so, according to him, if I dropped the trailer off the back of a ramp, I wouldn't drag the whole thing apart trying to get it back on.
Towed and loaded great (no noticeable difference). And, yes, I did drop it off the back of a ramp one time. That sucked, but all remained intact.1998 Ski Nautique (Red/Silver Cloud), GT-40, Perfect Pass Stargazer 8.0z (Zbox), Acme #422, Tunable Rudder.

We flipped the axle years ago on an 87 mastercraft pro star 190 trailer. That trailer didin't have a straight axle under it so by flipping it over it raised the boat significantly. Not sure if that is possible on your setup.
Do you have the roller wheels on your prop guard. If not that is a possibility. Here is a link to a post on adding them.

If it is possible to achieve a solution without lifting the trailer that is what I would do.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

Look at this thread:

I added a 2" lift to mine and modified the prop guard.
unfortunately, the pictures from my thread are not showing up. It was before the change in the forum, so I guess that killed it.
I'd have to search for the pictures.
