I added 1000 lbs to my SV-211 and have noticed that when I take off with a rider in tow the speed goes higher than it used to before it settles down. It also goes further up and down from set speed before making adjustments than it used to. From reading the PP manual I think I need to go up on the KDW and down on the NN values. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what they would recomend for settings on these values.

I'd set your KDW up to about 110 or so and see how that does. I've found that changing the NN values too much can make the boat feel "nervous".

KDW is how aggressive PP is with making adjustments to speed and NN is how many samples it takes per second or prior to making changes (don't know for sure) As for the overshooting the set speed, that happens to all. I go with the philosophy that I'm driving without PP until I'm at speed. So, I basically roll up and when I get close I start to back off the speed and then let PP take over once I'm there. This also, makes for getting settled faster and consequently more riding time.
