    4. You need 2 people for the bottom two big graphics. A third person is nice but not necessary. The first graphic below the rubrail has excess waste graphic at the top that you will have to trim away.

    Awesome summary:

THe excess graphic was this trimmed to allow the star to look correct? did you trim away the actual graphic? It appears on mine that the graphic was curt to be applied under the rub rail.

I think I need to repurchased this part and follow your great list of steps.

I’m not sure what to tell you about your graphic not wanting to line up since I can’t see it. It was very apparent with the decals I received that the graphic right under the rubrail had excess on top that would have to be trimmed at the rubrail. Like I mentioned in the short write-up I made sure to align the bottom of this graphic with the lip in the fiberglass on the side of the boat and then work my way up to the rubrail and then trim. I'm not sure what yours looks like but I wouldn't imagine that there would be any variances in the way these are manufactured. If it’s the same part being applied to the same model boat (‘06 220) it should work the same way mine did. If that isn’t the case you probably need to talk to your dealership and make sure they got you the right part. I trimmed mine at the rubrail after I had the graphic applied and squeegeed with the backing still on. If it looks like the graphic was already trimmed you may have gotten someone else's screw-up that your dealership (maybe unknowingly) resold.

I hope that helps. If your dealership sucks or you have to order a new decal kit, call Buxton. They are a great help.

Thank and thanks for the help!!!! Only only differed from you by moving the decal above the lip to perfectly align the star and shield circle. I have a seam but it's ok.
I ended up with a set of decals for the Starboard side minus part C the one under the rub rail as spares now.

Resurrecting an old thread here, but I am in need of this exact same work. My crest decals have some scratches from failed guide poles and I'd like to replace them (the crest graphics). My plan is to pull the old ones, get scratches repaired then put the new decals on I just recently ordered. My question is this. The SUPER AIR NAUTIQUE decals are still good and I'd prefer to not replace those. Will the large crest decals go down with the SUPER AIR ones still in place? I also couldn't tell from this thread whether removal of the rub rail was necessary as part of the installation, although it sounds like it wasn't removed.
