Has anyone increased the size of the well that the battery box fits in? By that I mean cut into the flooring around the box to increase the number of batteries that can be placed (in my case, in the 2002 supersport). If you have done this, or been talked out of it, please let me know. It just seems like a fair amount of wasted space under the seat that is just aching to be modified to be more user friendly.
    Thanks

It seems as we have a few parallel projects going on here.

I successfully cut in a 14x14x7" deep battery box under my rear starboard seat. It is big and deep enough to house 2 of the big Optima blue tops.

It wasn't difficult. I'll post a few pics when I get home tonight.

      Thanks Raindog
It does seem like we have several of the same projects going
Now if I could just stop having to show up to work (but still get my paycheck) so I can find the time to finish them all

        Eric,

Yeah, time is tough. I can only work on mine during weekends at the lake. I figure two more 3 day weekends and I should wrap most everything up.

I started a thread in the DIY section.
