Fuel Treatment for Ethanol gas additives

Since most of us probably fill our boats up on the way to the water, ethanol in out gas is a fact of life. I know what I have read oneline and in boating forums before but I was wondering if anybody has had problems with ethanol gas in their nautiques? Do people treat their gas with enzymatic additives etc?

I live in Oregon, probably a more humid area than Arizona. We also have had E-10 gas for several years now, and I have been running it in my 1997 Ski Nautique almost since it was new.
I have had no problems with it. My boat has over 2245 hours on it.
Since I have been running the E-10 gasoline, I have hardly ever seen a trace of water in my FCC when I change the fuel filter.

My belief is that if there is no water in your tank, you will not have a problem when you switch to an 10 % ethanol blend. If you have water in your tank, already, then you might have a problem.

      Sta-bil

I've been adding a bit of STA-BIL in my boat every tank since I bought it (add a little more in the winter).
When FCC filter was changed last month, we didn't see a drop of water.
Can't say if there would've been water had I not run STA-BIL in it.

        Ethanol as a dryer

The ethanol in the gas actually acts as a dryer pulling water out of the gas and complexing it with the ethanol. I have been running ethanol in the gas for 1300 hours with no problem I do add Stabil in the winter months even though I don't winterize here in San Diego.
