Prop for improved hole shot

What would be a good prop for improved hole shot on a moderately weighted boat, about 1000lbs...... we generally use the boat for wakeboarding in the morning and some tubing and general cruising in the afternoon........i want good all around performance to replace my factory prop...i think it is the 422...................i have a 98 air Nautique direct drive

The 98' Air was most likely originally equipped with an OJ Legend 13x16, the Acme 422 would be the modern version of what CC equips the DD's with.

I would recommend the ACME 1598, 3-blade propeller. We mostly wakeboard, surf, and a little tubing/skiing. For our purposes this prop works great. We usually run about 1000-1500 lbs of ballast and the holeshot is great. Obviously you will lose some top end but most people don't care about that. I have had the 422, 612, and a modified 470 on my boat and the 1598 was the best out of all of them.
