2007 SANTE 220 prop got jacked and what do I do?

The prop came with the boat, I bought used, and the prop had been machined by someone to add performance. It was a good job because there was no vibration at all. This morning I put in and there was some debris in the water and clunk. For sure one of the blades is damaged and I think a second is too. Should I get it repaired or just go buy a new one? Thanks

          Get the Acme 1235.

The Acme 1235 is what I was thinking. I have an ACME 645 on there right now that has been slightly modified.

FWAT220 - Where do you boat around Scottsdale? Do you head up to Lake Powell often?

I store my boat at Bartlett Lake. It is about 45 minutes from Scottsdale. I have not been to powell yet. I am dying to get up there.

I have the 645 also but have been told to get the 1235 not only because it's a bad *** prop but also for the high altitudes I tend to recreate at. Powell isn't terribly high but that's where I do 80% of my boating and I don't think it would hurt to pu the 1235 on for that lake.

I was told to go with the 1235 not necessarily because of the elevation, but because of the extra weight we put in the boat. The 645 works great now. No lag time. Smooth pull. I like it. My correct craft guy here told me to go with a 1235 if we were to get a new prop. I have been doing some research and have heard some complaints about the loudness of the 1235 prop. I also heard the rpms are pretty high at cruising speed (30+ mph) making it even louder. I then heard that the 1235 takes a few seconds to get the boat from stopped to moving. Have you heard any of these things?

                    Houseboat at Powell?
