    2007 210 pinging

    hey guys
when my 210 takes off fully loaded i can hear pinging in the engine, it does not make the noise when ballast is empty only under load.
does anyone know what might be causing this?
    thanks

That engine should work with the 87 octane it could be your knock sensor. Is the engine still under warranty? In 07 the 210 didnt come with a power prop did you upgrade the prop?

yeah we did upgarde the prop but we bent it last week and just put on the original one back on while it was getting fixed, the first time we rode with the old prop back on is when the pinging started.

Its probubly too much weight for the prop its lugging the engine causing the pinging. When are you getting the power prop back?
