I just recently purchased a 2001 super air and after having it out for a bit I felt a little shaking in the powertrain somewhere so I decided to check the vdrive. problem is when I pulled the stick there was only a small amout of slimy white substance on the stick. Also the stick does not pull out completely. It pulls out about 7 inches and something stops it from coming out completely. Is this normal or not? I did not know if maybe it had a head on it that kept it from coming out completely. Im also wondering how the oil became so discolored. Maybe water in the oil? I hope not but maybe condensation, the boat had been at a dealer unused for about a year and a half. Please somebody give me some advice this is my first boat though my father has a vdrive supra so I have a small amout of experience.
