real odd problem going on here, so on the way to the lake (04 sante) and i fill the tank up completely, when i get to the lake andstart the boat up it reads completely zero and my other guage is flashing red and saying low fuel, im thinking its just a sensor of some sort and start filling up ballast for wakesurfing, look down a few min later and its showing half a tank, then from that point on its maybe full this time, empty next and just seems to flux from completely empty to whatever. anyone else had this issue? or anyone know what may be a reason why this is happening?

I have the same kind of issue on my 03 SAN. After reading through some other threads on the forum, it appears to be a faulty tank sensor. It started acting up late last year just before I winterized the boat and I just remembered that I need to get that replaced. Someone posted a link to a site for the manufacturer of that sensor - I need to go back and do some forum searching.2003 SAN (current)

Have 2000 snob and had same issue last year - very erratic. I replaced the gauge and no help. I replaced the tank sensor and it is perfect now. Very easy job and inexpensive. You can get the tank float sensor anywhere for about 20-30 bucks. You may need a hack saw to cut it down to size (since it is a universal component) - but again it is really easy to do.

Have a similar issue in my 05' SANTE. I am replacing the gauge to see if that might resolve the issue, but Nautique says that is only an 80% chance of it fixing it. If that doesn't work, they said that the actual problem could be with the unit (gateway box) that is located in the rear of the motorbox that controls the entire system. That would be worst case scenario. hopefully the new gauge and or sending unit will fix the problem.
