I have a 2003 210 Limited and since I bought it, I could always hook the hose up in the driveway, start the engine, and within 20 seconds I'd get great water flow out of the exhaust. Recently the dealer removed some old impeller pieces from the the V-Drive housing which were causing the temps to increase at slow boat speeds. Now when I hook the hose up, in order to get any water flow at all, I have to rev the engine in neutral to prime the pump. After that, the water flow is fine.
Should I be concerned that there may still be some blockage, or is is it pretty typical to have to prime the pump when on a garden hose to get the water flow started?
