On my 01 sport air the lcs has quit working. The light for the fill and empty will not come on, on the switch panel on dash. The pumps do not come on. I am haveing trouble finding where the wires are comming and going. I see the two pumps that i believe are for the launch control system. but i cannnot find were they go until they meet the panel. I do not see any triped breakers at the circut, and am really lost at this point. Pls help.

Check the breaker Box
I would check the breaker box It is the large box under the dash. push all of the breakers in to make sure the lcs hasn't blown the breaker. That may fix the problem. If the light comes on but trips the breaker after trying to fill or empty you can then trouble shoot the bad componentNautiqueless in San Diego

tried that.. i dont think any of them are triped.. and then again im not sure which breaker it would be on for the lcs. but i have tried that and tried to reset them all and still nothing.... i seen what wires they are on the wireing diagram. but is where does the 40 pin connector plug in at? is it at the breaker box?? and if i send 12 volts to the pump manually should the lite come on, on the switch panel? pls help

just dug into it tonight.. got the breaker box exposed, and pulled out the switch board right of the steering wheel.. I am thinking that possibly the fill and empty butons on the swith board are falty. i really dont understand the whole picture of the electrical in the boat. The breaker panel is almost a computer? cause from what i understand of the wireing there is only wires going out to the pumps. i cant find the wires going in. and i dont understand how 4 wires for the swith panel can control 9 options. I know that the wires go to the breaker. NOt sure gonna do some more looking around tonight

I'm not 100% sure how the LCS is configured on an AIR, but in '01 the LCS on a Super Air has two switches on the dash (empty and fill) and it has two pumps, one for emptying and one for filling. My understanding of the switch bank to the right of the steering wheel is it's an integrated, solid state unit which isn't all that prone to failure (fingers crossed). Hopefully it's not the issue, as I can imagine it may be an expensive replacement.
I assume the other switches (lights, bilge, etc.) all illuminate on the pad if they're pressed? I'd be suspect that the wires that connect the pumps to the breaker box may have failed, most likely a ground if they're both out? The good news is I think most of the wires in your boat are color-coded, so you should be able to check them at the pumps, note their colors and then hopefully find them back at the breaker box. Once there, you can do some voltage readings and/or continuity checks to check for problems.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

i kinda thought something like that, but i tested the shower for that sanario. If you unplug the shower pump and hit the shower button the light will come on but the shower will not turn on. so in my thinking that if pumps were bad even if you pushed the button and they pumps didnt come on that the light would come on. and i jumped the power from the shower to the rear pump and hit the shower button the rear pump came on... but yea there is a fill and empty button on the dash..

I know when my "empty" pump was not working the light still would light up in the dash. have you thrown a volt meter on the feeds for the pump just for kicks?
Maybe it is possible for the keypad to be bad. i know my horn button doesnt work thru the switch but if i put a 12v source on it, it works. Im not sure whats all in the breaker box...wish i did and could tell you.Current: 2001 Air Nautique GT-40
