You need a prop puller and a shaft puller is very helpful. You better have a lot of time and patience to do this job. You have to remove the back seat to get at it. You will also want to drop the rudder so that you have room to get the shaft out. Leave the coupler bolted on (loosen all of the bolts and remove two of them completely)
there are two bolts that clanp the coupler to the shaft and one set bolt that need to be loosened and also loosen the safety collar. Don't forget to resafety wire the rudder bolts. By the way why do you need to remove the shaft?
