    need help w/ PerfectPass linkage

So I called the PP guys today and told them of my problem with it going up past the set point and then dropping back below it and then going back up again, repeating this over and over. Anyway he said my spring was probably weak. So I get to the boat today and look to find out that maybe I don't have a spring. Now as typing this I realize he was probably talking about the spring on the throttle arm that wraps around it. So is this the spring he was talking about or is there another one on the actual linkage because I don't see any other spring? If someone is really feeling like helping me out and has a 2003ish SANTE w/ the Excalibur engine they could take a picture of theirs and point out the correct spring to me. Anyway I want to get this fixed sometime this weekend. Thanks for any insight!

If you have the style of carb that uses a spring, then that's the spring to which he is referring. It aids in closing the throttle. You can get one at an auto parts store that carries carb parts, like O
    Reilly's.
