    General Cleaning Solutions?

Sorry all if this is a repeat. I did a search for boat cleaning and most every post that came up had to do with a problem area that needed cleaning, which is not the my current problem.

I just want to know what is a good general cleaning solution for washing your boat both inside and out. My boat is just dirty from rain, wind, etc. and just needs a good washing...kind of like a car wash but just for my boat.

I use Maguiars and Zano wash for my cars but wondering what is best for boats fiberglass inside and out and even to scrub the seat vinyl a little.

    Thanks in advance!

there is a variety of choices. for the outside just use a marine wash. then use a marine wax twice a season. for the interior i'd go with 3m products. they make the best protecter, 303, and also make a mildew blocker and vinyl cleaner. for stubborn mildew stains starbright mildew remover.

I rarely need to wash the outside as my boats stay inside when not in use. I use 30% white vinegar to wipe them down at the ramp before going home. Inside I use Malco plastic and leather cleaner mixed 30% with water again the complete interior is washed at the ramp after every use. 3-4 times a year I will do a full clean, polish and wax.
I use Poorboys products for the outside and Malco followed by 303 inside. If I hit a rain storm and have to wash it I just use car wash soap .
