Walters V drive, common issue. The lower plate is leaking, it needs a new gasket, mine is on it's third but it seems to be holding this time.

I think there was even a diy post that somebody did after repairing their own leak.

Mine SV211 has been leaking for some time, only enough to see some droplets in the bilge. Here is the post, sounds pretty easy.

We have the same problem on the same boat... Started to get really bad this weekend and were dumping half a quart every 2 hours. Having the marina fix it this week hopefully

To compound the port ballast fill pump is blowing the circuit now. Sucks

        Did you get yours fixed?

Same issue just came up on my '03 SANTE last time out. My v-drive light started coming on intermittently above 1200 RPMs. I checked the dip stick - bone dry - but no oil in my bilge at all. I changed it 70 hours ago so I was surprised to see that. Thanks for posting the link.

I guess the question is, as long as you keep oil in it, any other issue running with this leak for awhile - don't think I'm going to be able to get to it for awhile.

Mine has not frozen up yet and it has had a leak for a while, kept filling it up. With that said, I am sure I have missed the light come on and ran it hard, who knows if I have shortened the life of the drive

This is the third time I am asking for it to get fixed, if it does not work this time... new dealer/mechanic

Try to tighten up the bolts on the bottom of the V-Drive.
