high pitch sound from 211 dashboard

upon returning to the dock after a day a boarding/surfing. there was the very high pitch noise coming from the dashboard. It was not very loud but very annoying. I have not done any further investigation but for sure it was coming from the dash, tired turning of the stereo but that did not appear to make a difference, efven at different speeds the sound remained. Anyone heard of this noise, any ideas? thanks

Are u sure it wasnt the Perfect Pass buzz??? meaning low voltage??

I heard the same thing this weekend from my 06 211. I noticed it when i hit the bilge button it made the high sqweell noise then stopped. Few hours later i had hit it again to see if it would do it and it didnt. But i did hear it several times during the day. Not the depth or perfect pass, forsure a high sqweel. ? Weird but i am sure its a warning sign that something isnt right.

Talked with Whitelake about the noise and he said it sounded like a bilge pump bearing going out. I have tried several times to get it to do it again but nothing yet. But he felt that it was the bilge pump bearing.
