    Spring startup ?

What all do you do for spring startup after winter storage? Dealer winterized (disco batts, drain & anti-freeze water systems, stabil in fuel tank, change oil & filter ) and stored. I'm assuming just charge the batts, connect batts, check oil, tranny, packing. I'd planned to replace impeller but dealer said they wouldn't think it necessary and that the ones in this engine seem to be holding up better than any others. ??

    This is for an '08 211 w/ EX343

    Thanks,

With in ID of SkiTundra you must be very far North - You got it - I check the fluids, hook up the batt and water supply and crank it up in the drive way. Check all the water hose connections/clamps carefully. I keep the batt indoors during the winter, so usually do not charge it, but I'm sure it is a good idea. I then put the boat in the water (bilge pump on) and check everything one more time - especially looking for any leaks in plumbing and thru hull fitting. Then crank it up and start the fun !! I also completely clean / wax / detail the boat at the beginning of the season, but that is separate.

Well, MN. But I'll be in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks at Hilton Head. Thanks for the info.
