    Error Code Reset

There is not a Nautique dealer on my lake so I use the MC dealer to winterize my boat. At any rate they forgot to plug back in the wire on the knock sensor. So I received the See Dealer Knock sensor error on the first trip out. Since that time the wire has been put back on my '05 211 and there are no codes at the sensor but the code exists on the dash display. When I push the up/down arrows it clears to the hr meter but will quickly flip back.

There is not a dealer close and I wondered if there is anyway to clear this code? Thank you.

Had the same problem here. I tried the jumper wire methond and all, but eventually had to have the dealer bring out his laptop and reset it. I would think the MC dealer could do it.

You can purchase a device, effectively known as a "winky blinky" for a 2005 Ex Calibur that plugs into the DLC to clear codes. I believe you can get it from www.skidim.com and it will come with directions. Fairly inexpensive.

Post '07, I think, you need the laptop for sure. Throttle By Wire was introducted around that time and you need a can bus connection.
