    Start/Run breaker tripping. Starter Relay?

Put the boat (08 211 w/ EX343) in for the first time this year yesterday. Started up first try and ran well from ramp over to marina (10 - 15 mins). Only had 1 battery fully charged so took 2nd battery over today, put it in, switched over to Batt 2, and tried to start. Engine kicked over 2 or 3 times and quit. Checked neutral. Switched over to Batt 1. Checked breakers on batt switch (all good), checked breakers under driver console (Start/Run breaker was tripped). Reset. Tried starting again. Same scenario. Breaker will not reset unless power is turned off (will reset with power off or after power is turned off then back on and can be either battery switch or on/off/bilge switch under driver console). Same result on Batt 1, Batt 2, Batts 1+2. All other electrical on boat seems to be working fine and not impacted by this.

My current thought is starter relay (and thus why powering off/on will allow breaker to reset since this would cause relay to also reset?). I don't have a schematic but assume the start/run breaker is only powering the start, fuel, and ignition relays and the LED indicator on the keypad.

Could low battery voltage cause this? Likelihood of low voltage from both batts? Batts are 2 - 3 year old Interstate Workhorse.

Bad starter or fuel pump? I'd think these would cause respective fuses to burn out, but these look good (didn't have meter to check though).

    ??

    Thanks,

    Thanks,
Electronics can do funny things if hooked up wrong. By chance did you hook up the battery wrong to begin with befroe you cought your mistake? I just want to make sure because the only thing different between today and yesterday is the install of the other battery.

That was my first panicked thought but fortunately it was connected correctly.
