    V-drive oil level

I have low fluid level in the v-drive and am trying to fill. I remove the v-drive cover and see the fill cap with the breather. I tried to remove it and it was very tight and I thought I might break it. Has anyone had this problem? Can I fill directly through the dip stick?

    Thanks

I remember the breather cap being tight on mine as well. I can't remember if I have to twist it off or not, but you should be able to fill through the dipstick tube as well.

The oil fill is reverse thread on the v-drive. Turn right to remove just below the breather cap. It should come right off.
