I was out in my 07 236 TE ZR6 today and after clearing the headway speed buoys as I throttled up engine chokes out. Was able to restart but it ran rough as heck and had to idle speed all the way back and restart a couple times. Had been out a little earlier in some moderately rough water and there was one momentary choke but very transient so I kept going with no problem. Had more than 1/2 tank. Seems like fuel issue (water in line or pump?). Any ideas would be appreciated!

Same story, different day
Had a good mechanic look at the boat and he found air in the fuel line and bled it. It ran full speed for him no problems and I used it for 4-5 hrs since without problems. After a couple hours of wakeboarding today, same problem where suddenly the engine starts choking while throttling up and then it runs rough. Cant go above idle RPM without cutting out. I found no air in the system and bleeding the valve didnt work fro me. Had to be towed in. Seems to me like the PCM Fuel Cell system is faulty. Does anyone have experience 1)with anything like this 2) with engine-related warranty issues?-----------------------

I had a similar problem with the first few hours on my new 210 with the 343 PCM. After it ran fine for 4-5 hours I couldn't get it above idle speed without the boat stalling. It was fixed by the dealer after the local guy couldn't figure it out. They checked the anti-siphon valves as they've seen those choke off fuel, but that wasn't it. They replaced the fuel filter, but they think the real cuplrit was that the distributor caps had somehow come loose and the timing was way off. I've put 5 hours on since with no issues, but I'm a little nervous every time out as their explanation doesn't entirely make sense to me.
