stereo installation

would anybody have any advice on installing a stereo and speakers to a 2004 ski nautique which has never had a stereo installed.especially interested in best place to install speakers

When I Installed my stereo in my 1998 SNCB.. I put two 6.5" Polk's in the back right in front of the back seat. Driver and passenger side. I also put one in the front just behind the gull wing love seat. and one on the kick plate down by the driver's feet. Check under the gunnel sides, there was a pre-hole there for the speakers, all i had to do was cut the vinyl. Which took me two days to get the nerve to do. I also mounted a 10 sub under the bow, along the drivers side. and one along the bow on the passenger side. I mounted my amp to the board that divides the bow storage and the drivers foot well.

Assuming the 04 still has the hump on the starboard side under the bow, the kick panel is only going to have room to get a speaker on it at the very top. In this position, it fires into the back of the helm and is far from ideally placed. I recently relocated mine to a custom built pod mounted under the throttle firing up and have been very pleased with the results.

Very nice tx skier.. where was that idea before i blasted a 6.5" hole in my kick panel..
