i have noticed when backing my trailer into the driveway(have to cut it to turn) that sometimes it looks like rear wheel of tandem trailer bow out a bit? does this sound like i need to replace the hubs and/or races?

get a jack out and put it on the very back of the trailer on the side that wheel seems a little off. (id leave the trailer connected to the truck for this) and lift it off the ground, then grab ahold of the wheel and twist it. if anything your bearings could be shot. and it would possibly pull completely towards you. if your that worried about it take the hub completely off and inspect the bearings and replace the grease with marine grade greaseCurrently own

thanks. i've been meaning to jack it up but i've been kind of busy and it's so hot outside i don't want to do it. i have shot some marine grease into the fitting recently and supposedly my mechanic checked them when i got it ready for summer. he just mentioned i need new brakes soon. i always pull forward after a long reverse to relieve tension. one more question..i've never had to jack my trailer up. can i use my yukon's scissor jack and should i jack it right inside the wheel on the cross member or somewhere else?Last edited by gride300; 06-19-2010, 02:29 PM.
