Gear box???? Need to be specific on what model boat you have and why you think it could be a "gear box" Failure.

2003 air nautique limited it was making "ticking sound i took it into the shop and they said the gear box was low on oil so the put fluid in it and said they could charge me 100 to run it in the tank to see if the ticking would go away or i could take it out my self i did and on are third atempt to pull a skier it stoped movin with the throttle engaged it forward and reverse and now i think it destryoed the vdrive packin as well cuz it was leaking galons out when i put it on the trailer when normally it would only leak a little bitComment
