I have a 1990 Ski Nautique with a Ford 351 engine. I replaced the impellar and the thermostat. When I run the boat, it stays at 160 and after a period of time I try to run it at a slow speed, it quits. to get it to restart you have to punch the gas, after many tries. The engine temp reads 200 at this time....as soon as you get the boat running again, it falls back to 160. seems like its an electrical problem, can anyone help.
