    the screw is facing away from the engine block. I cleaned my heat exchanger i found alot of impeller pieces. but it is still overheating.

        Also make sure that your strainer bowl is sealed properly. If there is any leak in that, it will not create the correct vacuum and not cycle enough water through your motor.

          My Nautique have overheat problem,sounds smilar you problem in July last year,you fixed the problem?wnad what is the main problem? your experience might useful for me,I want check the thermostate,where it located?

            figured it out

            the whole problem was the heat exchanger. it had a hole in it and was letting my coolant seep out thanks to all.
