    No Spark 1998 Ski Nautique

Took the boat out this weekend and she ran fine all day sat a little rough while idling but ran great while running. Put her in sun morning and she would only crank. Pulled a plug wire off and put a spark plug in the wire and grounded it and cranked it no spark. Took the coil wire off and grounded it no spark. I want to replace coil. cap, rotor which should fix the problem but I don't know where i can get the part numbers its a pcm 351 w/holley carb.

    Thanks

I would bet its the ignition control module, but you can try the other items. The cap/rotor usually do not fail all at once like that.

Agree, skidim will have all your parts. White Lake will as well and is a site sponsor. Most local car parts stores will have those items.

I could be wrong, but I would think with the key on, and the engine off, you should have 12 volts on the positive side of the ignition coil, (s).

Is the ignition control module the same as the ignition coil.

Well I got it fixed. My dumb **s went out and bought a coil and ignition module.Put everything in and still no spark. I look over and someone had pulled of the emergency tether. I put it back on and it started right up. What a waste of 200.00
