Ballast tanks drain problem

Hi Guys. I´m a proud new owner of a 2010 211. I´m having a problem when trying to drain the ballast tanks. No prob when filling them up but I can´t try to manage to empty them. Any trick with the ballast control buttons??

With the pump off hold the button down until the light begins to blink. Solid light for water pumping in and blinking light for water pumping out. This is true for all three tanks.

Yeah, I had a really tough time with the pumps when my 2006 was new. The impeller in the pumps would freeze up in one direction and not go the other. These pumps actually spin in 2 directions - one to fill, one to drain. There is a small impeller in the pumps - identical but smaller to the impeller in the raw intake pump - this impeller has to change directions to fill/empty and mine were getting hung-up - that is they were not able to change direction - the splines/blades on the impeller could not get around to bend in the other direction. They corrected these impellers in probably 2007 and since I put them in, I have not had a problem. So....if you are using the switch correctly (see prior post) and still having the problem, and particularly if it will still fill but not empyt, I bet this is the problem. Godd luck and let us know.

Oh, and I shut the valve in the belly tank on my '06 when not full. I found that this would pick up water just from running - not cool for skiing. Close the valve on the tank, which is in the ski locker on the back (stern) end. Mine has a blue handle on it.

Guys, If got some more info on this problem. There is a rundry system under the consule. You can have a look under the gauge panel and find it there (have a look at the photos) Take the black cap out and try out to slightly turn the nobs. I was able to put both port and belly tanks draining but the starboard tank is still not draining

Have to find another way. Hope this info helps someone in the future.

I have a 2006 226 where the Starboard won't drain either

Switch comes on to fill but won't empty. Works when I connect to Belly switch. Figure it must have something to do with the Run-Dry system since I'm getting no voltage at the pump connection when in the empty mode.

Anyone know what to do. All the relays are working and none of the circuit breakers are popping. Driving me Crazy

Got Starboard Ballast pump to drain

There were no inline fuses on the 2006 226TE I checked the entire wiring harness... HOWEVER...

Thanks to the pictures from the previous post, I learned about the Run dry control module. I opend the access on the back (1 black, 1 red), I then turned the empty switch on and moved each adjustment slowly, I put it back to original setting if nothing happened, finally by adjusting one, the pump began working. It seems over time you have to adjust these, thus the reason the made them accessible.
