    Interior Removal

I need to remove the side panels of my interior to check the bolts on the tower mounts. Does anyone know how the panels are removed? Are they bolted from behind or do they have those little plastic push tabs? The boat is an 08 210. Thanks.

My boat's a 95' but on mine you have to remove the nuts on the backside to pull of the side panels. I remove my seat bases from the boat and then I can lay on my back and get up in there. I don't know if you can remove the seat bottoms on the newer boats or if you just have to reach up behind there and find the nuts to remove.

I don't believe there are any bolts. I removed my drive side throttle panel to install my ws420 and it was all the plastic tree things. good luck

I have to do the same on my 08 210, a couple of the rear bolts will not tighten up on the tower mounts, they just spin. I need to get up under the gunnel so are the side panels just held in place with the plastic trees? I'm guess if so that I better have some on hand.

That's what holds the interior panels in my '08 230. The trees are not easy to pull free, so make sure you pull near the tree so you don't break the plastic panel. Also I replaced all the trees that were damaged by removing the panel instead of trying to reuse them. The damaged trees had to be removed from the panel with vice grips and even then took some effort. Nautiqueparts.com has them on their web site, they are affordable, and I didn't want to take that panel off twice.

Those are the trees...and definitely get extras if you're removing panels and you'll break some in the process.
