25 hr service

Hello,
I ordered a 05 SANTE, and I was wondering about the 25 hr service. Can this be done yourself, or does the dealer have to do it for warranty purposes. What does this service include? Thanks

You can do it yourself. The hardest part is the engine alignment. I am sure Jeff will chime in here with the link to the page from the service manual. I think it is in the download section.

Looks like you have to take it to them , technically if you did'nt and you had a problem it may not be covered by the warranty since it was'nt performed by an authorized dealer? I'm pretty picky how people treat my vehicle's or boats , I'm praying this dealer will have great service. I have'nt heard and bad stories about Larson Marine in Stockton or Sacramento. I've been very pleased with Stockton so I may just drive the 60 miles and have them do my 25 hr service. I will do a walkaround with them when I do have it serviced so there will be no confusion if the boat has a scratch here or there, protects both parties. We have to do it here at our dealership with customers vehicles. You would be surprised how many people don't know that their rt fender has been caved in :x

congrats on the boat.. what color combo did you go with ?

I am not so sure that the warranty would be voided but it is a good time to have any warranty work done that needs to be addressed and it is alot easier to let the dealer change the vdrive and transmission fluids. Also, an alignment on a vdrive isn't a lot of fun.
