Recently my perfectpass stopped working. It was working fine and then on start up a minute later, there was no power. I also lost power in the speedometer gauge which is right next to the perfectpass. 15 starts after the gauges quit, I moved quick and hard in reverse and the 2 gauges flickered on and off once. Haven't worked since. I have power to the rest of the gauges and the boat runs fine.
The gauges are the factory 2001 digital gauges that CC had tons of moisture issues. When I looked behind the gauge pod, there are no loose wires. Checked for loose wires under the kick panel and panel to the right of driver's seat and nothing loose. Also checked for fuse issues in both these locations. Nothing looks out of place or problematic.
Ran the boat and moved (jiggled) the wires behind the dash pod and nothing flickered to indicate a loose wire.
Will check with a test lamp to see if power is getting to the gauges. I am thinking this is a speedo gauge issue and I need a new gauge.
