Anyone got any ideas on how to identify what is wrong?
Boat - 2003 SAN TE - Dual battery set up, some additional amps
Boat starts and runs fine, but as soon as it starts up there is NO voltage shown at gage and alarm "low voltage" is beeping on tach.
Alternator is fine. Getting almost 15 volts at alternator. Removed negative battery cable (accesories battery is off) and boat runs fine. Even turned on about every accessory and still runs fine.
Pulled cable going into Faria box and checked red and black wire - getting ~15 volts
Pulled cable going into gage (4 wires) checked red and black wire only getting a little over 8 volts.
Any ideas?
