    Clean it up

I have a 1990 SN closed bow. The black fiberglass dash is very sun faded. What can I do to get that shinny black finish again?

Wet sand. For details on "how to" go to www.correctcraftfan.com. They have several threads describing the process in detail.

I've used this before on a red boat with oxidation:

made a huge difference. of course, not as good as wet sanding, but for the effort put in it works very well.
they make one that's more aggressive. i think this one says light oxidation and there's one for heavy oxidation.
give it a whirl if it doesn't need to be perfect, just look nice.

I have used 3M microfinishing compound, then polished with a product called black magic, and produced nice results..... Follow up with a good wax. I actually use that Turtle wax Ice, and it works well.
