    Crack on new boat

    Hi - I've got a 2010 210. There are some small cracks on the gelcoat. Two small ones on each side of the bow lifting ring and one longer one where the windshield is screwed into the hull. This one seems to be getting worse. I just sent this pic to the dealer but I haven't heard from them yet. I assume this is a warranty item, but in the meantime is there anything I can do and how concerned should I be?

    Personally, I would be concerned. That is a new boat, and I would not think there should be any cracks....

      I wouldn't do anything as the dealer/factory may blame you for the crack. This is not good but should be fixable. I had another brand boat (cuddy cruiser) that developed cracks around the front skylights. Took it the dealer and was worked on under warranty. The work was horrible, fiberglass color match was off and I became so frustrated in several attempts to get it fixed correctly, I just sold the boat. Make sure they are working with a reputable fiberglass repair shop if they do not have their own in house fiberglass repair tech. Take pics for reference and watch the repaired area for further problems.

        im sure the dealer will correct the problems. I had a spider crack on a new boat once and there was no problem resolving the issue and it didn't return after the repair.
