Where did this guy go? With all the help people are trying to give him you would expect a comment here or there out of courtesy.

        • 2001 Air Nautique

        #33
I have forwarded this thread onto a friend of mine. We have a 2001 air nautique; we just changed all of the fluids, spark plugs, impeller, and fuel filter about a month ago.
The boat was idling low and had a 'bog' at about 1200 rpm. We realized that the previous owner did not take as good of care of it as he said he did and after we did this, the boat ran great.

Recently (twice so far), after shutting the boat off waiting for the next rider, we were unable to start the boat again ranging in wait times from 1 min to about 3 (an eternity most recently being on the Delta in swift moving water with a rocky shore). The safety pin is good, as is the distributor cap. Has any '01 owner had this happen? after we got it started, it didnt happen again all day, each time. I dont want to start a new thread for what seems like the same issue - we will look into each recommendation listed above (and any new) and I will update you after we take it out again. TIA!
