    93' Ski Nautique Engine Fuse/Breaker

I am confused by my breakers at the back of my 93's Pro-Boss. There is a 50A and a 12.5A breaker with the red buttons and I cannot push them to reset them. I have a feeling that the 50A is getting popped due to a electrical problem but I cannot verify it.

Are these thermo-breakers or manual? (i.e. they heat up and then reset when they cool are are they a manual item) It appears that they are manual but I am not sure.

Baiscally what is happening is that when I turn over the motor with the blower on I lose power/voltage to everything. I measure 4.5V on my systems between the positive post and the ground/block when this happens. I am able to get running again after waiting a variable period or by removing/reinstalling the positive battery terminal.

    Your opinion/help is appreciated.

    Thanks!
    Brett

Check your connections to the alternator. Mine had some rust on the back side of one of the alternator connections and intermittently tripped that breaker. I have to occasionally reset it now only if i get water in the bilge. something I plan to take a look at over the winter.

Thanks! I'll get those contacts cleaned when I clean up my battery connections as well.

When I say that it is an electrical problem, I mean it is one I cannot diagnose.... Yup - I know its an electrical problem... The mystery to me is why I am seeing 4.5V EVERYWHERE except across the battery terminals which read 12V.

Ideas on what to check out with the voltmeter this weekend??

Check your engine ground, I'd also check the wires behind dash to make sure you don't have bare wiring making contact (you mentioned problem occuring when starting with blower on).
