Can you put two bilge pumps on the same vent line?

Has anyone put two bilge pumps on the same vent line? I am not sure if I would need to put a check valve on the lines so they dont backflow into the opposite pump, etc. I want to put a third bilge pump in the ski locker to drain the water out if by chance I take a roller over the bow. I know that there is a drain plug in the aft portion of the ski locker, but for some reason I have water in the ski locker when I pull the boat out at the end of the day. So since I like to error on the side of caution, I figure that this may be a worth while upgrade.

    I would appreciate anyones 0.02
