the pull pin on my ramlin trailer swing-away tongue is seized and wont come out. ive gotten away with it thus far by just removing the bolt on the other side and swinging it that way, but ive spent a few days trying to get it out now to replace with another pin i can actually keep lubed ... anyway, have had no luck. its been covered with pb blast for several days and beat on with a hammer to no avail. am gonna heat up with a torch today to see if that breaks it loose, anyone have any other bright ideas? i really hate to resort to drilling on it ...

I had the same thing happen on one of mine. PB and sledge hammer. You may also try to hook it to your truck and go up and down with the jack to make sure it is not in a bind (try various heights). As you found out, the key is to keep it greased up.Promo Team member

I had the same problem and after hitting it with a hammer a few times with no progress I just cut the top off with a Dremel and drilled it out. Mine was made from cheap pot metal so it took no time to drill the pin. What took the longest was getting as close as possible to the hole diameter with a drill bit. I then had to chisel the rest of the material away. Took about 2-3 hours, but I replaces it with another pin from Lowe's made of galanized (SP) steel and have not had any issues since. Good luck!Jason

well, first the good news ... i put the torch to it and finally saw it moving while i beat on it, so now i have it moving up and down. unfortunately only the pin remains with no cap or handle, and both ends have slightly shroomedoh well, should be able to pinch them back in enough to drive out now, i hope
