GT 40 Spark plugs with oil - What to do?

Hi there. Recently did the spark plugs change, and found out that two of them had oil on them.

What should I do, and what causes this problem.

So far, the boat is running well, did not noticed any difference.

    Thanks for any advice.

Is your motor fuel injected? if so you may have a bad injector that is pumping to much gas. Do a compression check on the motor and see if there is a significant difference between the cyclinders. How many hours are on the motor?

Thanks, yes it is fuel injected. I'll try to do the compression test.

      Engine has about 430hrs

My '95 has always had one plug with oil on it. It's the aft most plug on the starboard (driver's) side. I've heard that it's from the angle the engine sits at and the oil seeps into the cylinder when not being used. No idea if this is accurate or not, but there's been oil on that plug since I bought it at 130 hrs, and now has over 515 with no issues.

          Check the oil level first.

It may be too high, either from overfilling, or from gas or water in the pan.

Well, in my case, the engine is consuming a little amount of oil, less than half qt every oil change (50 hrs).

It runs fine, nothing is wrong, but don't think this is normal.
