    Incorrectly Factory Assembled Seat

While preping the boat, I noticed the drivers seat support plate was sticking out from the bottom of the port side... Upon further investigation it looks like they missed the bolt hole on during the original install. The boat is still under the 5 year warrentee but I planned on just fixing myself until I realized I didnt know if it was a "thru bolt" connection on the seat (where I would have to take the skin off to get to the other side) or if it was a "lag" type connection... On the side that looks correctly installed it appears that there is a bolt that goes through the black sliding base frame then through a nut then through the aluminum support base then into the seat... Any ideas on how this connection is made (I prefer not to deal with the skins if its a thru-bolt connection)...

    Crude Pics attached...

    Thanks!

I just took my driver's seat out of my 2002 SAN today. Not sure if your seat is the same style, but on mine, I just lifted up the seat cushion and that allowed access to the four recessed nuts that go on the bolts. Assuming yours is the same, just unbolt all four, put the aluminum plate back on correctly, and bolt it all back together. Should take no longer than 10 minutes.
