2003 SANTE with engine surging issues.

I took my boat out and made a hard left turn and the boat felt like it cut out. I proceeded with my day and did not notice it again, until I was pulling a tube 5 hours later. It felt like the prop is getting held up. Pulled the boat out and noticed my prop is bent.

Would a bent prop cause the boat to surge? Does the computer cut fuel if it feels unbalanced?

I planned on upgrading my prop anyway but can this be fixed so I have a spare?

Another question where should I buy a prop? What dealer. The 1464 is what I have been told is the best upgrade for my boat.

you can get that one fixed, but buy a new one from deltaprop and get the discount. and then you'll have a spare.

So is the prop my issue with surging?

Is this the prop I want?

A bent prop is more prone to cavitation. It sounds like that is what your experiencing when you turned. In addition to the power loss, you should have felt a considerable amount of vibration and noise. It should have all gone away when you straightened out and reduce the RPM's.
