2005 211 super air slow pick up/no power

I have just been out on my 211 and when setting off will not pick up. the engine just seemed to have no power and struggled to pull a wakeboard. it felt like there was weed round the prop, but this was ok. the boat runs on LPG and we have just filled the tank, but it used a lot of LPG very quickly. any ideas

the boat just will not pull out the hole, seems ok at top speed or once on the plane, but when I went to pull a wakeboard out the water ( a small 14 year old ) I had to give it full throttle to pull him out. I did notice a slight virbration at slow speed. checked the prop and no signs of damage, no weed on it. the engine starts and runs all ok, can't see or hear any thing on tick over, no dash warning lights or fault codes, but still no power. please can any one help
or is it back to the mastercraft dealer again.......

      try these tips

here are a couple things to try , not sure if they will work, but anyway, make sure that there is not water in the engine compartment ( a sak may have leaked all its water) try turning off the perfect pass.make sure all the saks are drained. Next is taking to the dealer

there is no water in the engine compartment, as we not had any saks in, also was working perfect on sunday, and was stored over night on the trailer, with covers on and bung out, and it didn't rain so there should be no water there.
I have not been running using perfect pass, not used perfect pass for ages as when using it used a lot more gas ?
as for taking to the dealer not an option as he is too far away, have spoken to a good dealer in the uk over the phone and he has told me a few things to try, and one was perfect pass/servo motor. he also mentioned water, what would water do ? and would it not damage the starter motor first ?
        thank for the suggestions

Liquefied Petroleum Gas, propane. Lots of dudes in Europe convert them because it is far cheaper to run (gas = 4x as much there) and it is a fairly cheap conversion. Did you get crappy propane? is that possible?

I think the only impact water would have would be sending it to limp mode, which it doesn't sound like you are.

LPG is Liquefied petroleum gas , or auto gas (not petrol) the price of petrol in the UK is over £1.20 per litre so is very expensive to run on petrol, so most large engine boats are LPG in the Uk. I supose the dealer isn't that far away compared to what you are use too over there. it's about 600 mile round trip and a fortune in fuel, and last time I had a problem he wasn't very intrested so won't waste my time and fuel taking it to him, But I do have good back up for another dealer who manages to fix most thing over the phone and is very good. if it wasn't for this man I would be using mastercraft, as in 3 years I will be lucky to have done 30hrs on the boat, the boat has only done 130hrs from new. I have spent 1000's on parts, I am a fully quafiled mechanic, the boat has been looked after yet I still can't get more than a few hours out of it before something else goes wrong, so the only dealer it will be going too is the mastercraft dealer the next time it lets me down, and will be staying there, As I am really am losing faith in my pride and joy, and savings £££, They all can't be this unreliable ?

don't think it could be bad gas as others are running on the same gas with no problems, but there was a 216 that wouldn't start, but now running ok.
was not in limp mode, ran great but just no power, and had to use a lot more throttle than normal

what are all these other problems you've had? i've never heard of anyone using propane to power there engine. and if that's the case, why don't you run your car on it too

had most problems that are listed on these forums, the biggest one was the ECU going down last year, That took most of the UK summer to fix (we don't get many sunny days here ) Then the new ECU the dealer sent was all so faulty, so I must have been the unluckiest man on the planet, As I was told the ECU never goes wrong but I had two, so I went direct to PCM who tested both ECU and sent a new one it worked perfect, during this time it had a wiring harness on, just in case it had a faulty harness, none of this was done out of warranty, as un know to me there had been 2 perious owners, I was told 1 from the dealer, so my warranty was nil and void. the warranty was one of the main reasons for buying the boat. the back up we got from Nautique in the UK was none, untill the mastercraft dealer put me in touch with a nautique dealer who spent hours on the phone sorting things for us with no cost to us, and is the only reason I still have a nautique. the stainless steel screws have gone rusty (never been near salt water), seat covers split, had most metal parts repainted just to paint blistering, ballast gauges replaced, ballast switches replaced, this all on a 5 year old boat with a 130hrs, which is stored indoors over winter and never been in saltwater. so I am sorry if my love of nautiques is not the same as most people on here, but my idea of a good time on the boat is not with my head in the engine bay, Every body on the lake says what a beautiful boat it is, which she is , but it's embarrassing getting towed of the lake by a 20 year old boat, I am running out of money and patience with it

and one of my cars does run on LPG, petrol is very expensive in the UK £6 per gallon

why not sell it and just ride cable? or pick up a little john boat and start wakeskating. it's a boat. every single one of them, no matter what year, make, or model is going to cost alot of money. an aluminum john boat is really the only one with a small chance for issues since the only thing there is the engine and maybe an exposed bilge pump. it's something to think about.

A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into.

not sure what type of engine your machine has or if this will even pertain to one that runs on LPG.. I had a ZR6 engine which sat for awhile and apparently the iridium plugs lose something if not fired for a period of time. Our boat seemed to idle and run ok and the plugs looked fine when taken out for inspection..but the boat had no power and struggled to pull up a boarder. Replaced all plugs with genuine delco plugs assuring proper gap and boat would almost pull your arms off
