Heater - 2003 SAN

Hey all,
I seem to be having some trouble with my factory heater on my SAN.

As far as I can tell, it's hooked up correctly, and the fans work well, just no heat comes out.?

There are 2 outlets under the driver kick panel, but only 1 seems to be hooked up to the heater.?

Any ideas on where to start looking.?

Try pulling out the vents. The ducting could be kinked, or may have been disconnected.

Start looking at the current hose running down under the floor and you might find it laying just below the floor level. Otherwise, you'll need to find the two hoses coming off the engine, one at the thermostat and then the other from a block fitting. They'll probably be red in color. Follow them down and towards the front. Hopefully the first step you'll find the missing hose. Otherwise you'll be pulling seats and panels to get to the hose.

I just had every single piece of interior out.!

What hose.? The red hoses are in place & conected. they run up beside the fuel tank to the front.?

Are you referring to the flexible ducting hose.?

The two hoses run from the engine to the heater core. You initially said that you only had one connection but, if both connections are there then there can only a few possibilities. A kink or pinched hose that is preventing hot water from flowing up to the heater core or the hoses are not connected to the engine.

Or it is plugged with junk after being used for 7 years. New cores are $80, and the housing you will need for the new style is $40. PM me if interested.

mate sorry I meant that up front only one of the two flexible hoses are hooked up.

You could be on to something there.! one of my ballast lines is blocked up, so It's very possible. Although the water should have apssed through the sea strainer, but fine gunk would still pass thru.
