All with Jabsco Ballast Puppy and Fat Sacs

Did you guys place your rear sacs with the hose connection at the back or front of the locker? Obviously with my aerator pumps, the drain hose connection was at the back of the locker.

Now that I'm upgrading to reversibles, can I flip the sacs around and save myself some time and $ running hoses to the rear? Wondering if they will drain all the way if I do this.

I imagine that you can. Otherwise you can build a slight ramp forcing the water towards the fill/empty line

I think you can if there is a one-way check valve on your vent line. i have heard of people doing it htis way, but I havent myself. I actually put my fill/empty as far back towards the transom as possible.

No, I'm still tweaking from this spring. Due to work and family obligations, I won't hit the lake house until Labor Day weekend. Still working to get the best surf combo, hopefully I'll have that sorted out then.

Because there is ZERO air in the system. My bags fill and vent out the side, pushing all air out of the system. It sucks the bags down to raisins when I reverse my pumps because the check valve doesn't let air back in I have two batteries in front of my bags and didn't want to use the bottom inlet. It works perfect!

I read your ballast set up install post when I was designing my set up. It is all installed, works great, etc. The one thing I would change is add in the check valves so the bags drain completely. A couple of questions
                          1) What size hosing did you use for your vent lines
                          2) For the check valves did you use the outer diameter or inner diameter style?

                          Thanks

Look at my ballast install part 2.......I added the check valves a long time ago
                            1) 1" hose for everything
                            2) In my ballast install part 2 I listed the valve I used and where I bought them. I don't know what you mean by inner or outer I think these are them: http://www.boatersworld.com/product/MP80821176.htm

Sorry, I meant that did the check valves go around the outer diameter of the vent tube, or do they slip into the internal diameter of the tube.
