I would go with what Delta says. They have been giving great advice here for years.

Prop wash eating away gel coat??? Any pics of this really happening?
Actually, it is common to get cavitation from the prop tips that can be very erosive. My last inboard had a spot on the rudder that was well eroded from this.
I was talking to a guy at Acme last week about props. We are having a ski show at my lake this weekend and planning on pulling up 10 wakeboarders at once for the show. The reason he was probably telling you to run the 1631 is because of the clearance between the prop and the bottom of the hull. If you run a prop that is too big in diameter it could cause gel coat burn to the hull from being too close to it. From my understanding as long as you have 3/4"-1" clearance you should be fine. I am not sure how much clearance you would have running the 1235 on a 211. I know they (Acme) don't reccomend running it on the 210 because of the clearance. From what I remember him telling me, the 210 was the only CC boat that had the issue running the 1235 but I could be wrong on that. The 1235 is a 14.50" diameter prop and the 1631 is a 13.50" diameter prop. If you are trying to gain more holeshot then I would reccomend the 1465 or 1579 (identical size props). I run the 1465 on my 08 210 and it does a very good job. FWIW: larger diameter and less pitch=more holeshot, but remember you can only go change your prop so much or you will be running into the rev limiter on top end.

latonkaboarder,
Great information, thank you....After reading through most of the prop related threads on here and other areas, nobody ever mentioned the 1631, which is why i questioned it. I bent the factory prop and was going to send it off to be fixed, but also purchase a more torquey prop for weighted surfing......This would give me different props for different situations, but now i am not to sure what to get.
Some threads have mentioned the 1465 and I am considering it, just never seen the prop recommended by Delta (1631)
Great information, thanks again
