starbright mildew remover. let it soak and if it's really bad scrub w/ med. brush before rinsing. for mildew it really is so far beyond anything else and it's safe.

Mr. Clean magic eraser works wonders on dirt and grime, usually can take care of light mold/mildew. Best cleaning product I've ever used.

If it's really really bad, like it cleans off but the seat still have a shadow stain from the mold, you need to kill the mildew root with some form of mildew root remover. Any grocery store has it in the cleaning section. Water the product down and only use a strength needed to get rid of it.

        Make sure..

If its bad Mold and have to use a heavy bleach concentrate, try and keep it off the stitching for sure, the bleach will disintigrate the stiching

Before you use any strong cleaners. Soak down the entire boat or area with fresh water to prevent dry areas from soaking up strong chemicals that will eventually fade or eat at areas that don't need cleaning.

Once everything is happily soaked with water, you can concentrate on the problem areas then flush it all again with clean water to rinse the chemicals away.

Start with the Starbrite Mildew stuff as Gride recommended. Be sure to rinse it thoroughly. It may take more than one round of applications.

Beware of Magic Erasers. Yes, they clean great. But, they are a micro-abrasive and will remove the protective topcoat of your vinyl, leading to it drying out and cracking earlier than normal. If you have tried everything else, then you can give them a try, but after I used one to make a boat look brand new only to have the vinyl crack like crazy the following winter, I will never use one again on boat vinyl. Note, this is not just my opinion or experience. There are many others out there who strongly recommend against using magic erasers on vinyl.

              3M mildew remover

I've used starbrite but the 3M works much better

I use spray nine and have very good luck with it. Also don't forget to use 303 after whatever you decide to use.
