    Muffler replacement

i've got a '91 SN with the invertaflow system on it. the starboard side connection from the exhaust manifold is in pretty bad shape and is currently being held together by (mostly) RTV sealant. i've heard some pretty nasty stories about what can happen when the invertaflow muffler blows out. has anybody replaced these? what kind of setup should i be looking for?

    Thanks.

Repair what you have. It's a good place to practice glass work. Nobody will ever see it.

After you get done, figure out a way to pressure test it, it is below the waterline and if it leaks, not pretty.

      Muffler replacement

Yeah fix what ya got. I repaired mine this winter and it has worked well. If u can, make sure to get some epoxy on the inside as well if there are any cracks or holes.
