    Air Temperature Reading on SV-211

My air temperature sensor was reading high, especially after running the engine. I consulted Correct Craft about calibration and was told the reading was inaccurate due to the location of the sensor. From the factory it is located in the gunnel ceiling between the engine compartment and the starboard seat directly behind the driver so it is affected by engine heat. You can access this sensor from the starboard storage compartment by pushing forward the carpeted compartment divider. Cut the cable ties holding the sensor to a group of wires. Once free, there is enough slack to relocate it forward of the engine compartment away from the engine heat. I placed mine along the starboard gunwale. The probe tip is now about center of the seat cooler. Problem Solved.
